Niue (Alofi Drop-off)
Alofi (west coast), Niue
About this site
Niue is the world's largest raised coral atoll, offering diving conditions unlike anywhere else in the South Pacific. With visibility regularly exceeding 50 meters and reaching up to 80 meters, the dramatic drop-offs start right from shore with no long boat rides needed. Underwater caves, tunnels, and chasms formed by limestone filter systems create a spectacular seascape, shared seasonally with humpback whales and playful spinner dolphins.
